She was also kind enough to send along a picture of Duff's newest tattoo which she photographed herself. My computer's pitching a diva fit for the moment, so I'll get that picture up in the tattoo gallery as soon as my pc let's me see it! LOL
Huge thanks to Chris over at Seattle Weekly and Tiffany at the Duff Fans Forum for the heads up. Duff will be blogging for Seattle Weekly's music blog every Thursday, and let me tell ya, the man can write! There's already 2 to enjoy with hopefully many more to come! You can find them here ----> Duff Blog
Just_Me is heading up a brand new site for us Duff fans. It's called Duff On Tour and details his past, present, and future tour dates (excluding GNR and VR, of course). Check it out here ---> Duff On Tour

Scott Weiland's less than unexpected exit from Velvet Revolver will obviously put a slight hold on VR's next album.
Thankfully, we have a LOADED album to look forward to in the near future! Word is recording is set to begin sometime in April and the band will be setting out on tour this summer.
An official Loaded website has been launched with Duff himself writing in with the latest news. Thanks to Duffydack for passing along the link.
Also, check out Loaded's Official Myspace
There's 4 or 5 more interviews up and ready for reading. Huge thanks to Diane, Devanna, Saphkat, and Strie for finding them in the first place. One's an oldie from 1993, the others are more recent.
I just realized that I hadn't let you all know that The Last Fight video captures are now up in the gallery. They've been there since Monday for those that didn't notice. Huge thanks to Teddy for sending the video to me. I got a little carried away with the amount of captures I took, but I doubt anyone will complain ;)
I haven't been able to sync schedules with Teddy yet, so I'm still waiting for The Last Fight, but I did find myself a copy of She Builds Quick Machines in the mean time. 36 captures from that video are now available in the Gallery. Hopefully I'll have The Last Fight soon. Thanks again to Teddy for all the effort. I'll catch you soon! LOL
And finally we have some new fan tattoos to share! Two young ladies have sent in some pretty cool looking ink to share, and they can now be viewed in the fans corner.
I also added a couple more Youtube videos in the download section until I get mine ready for uploading. One in GNR playing Attitude and the other is a very young - not quite Neurotic Outsiders - Wayne Newtron playing with Iggy Pop. I'm guessing this was circa 1995, and I really can't remember who originally sent this my way. Enjoy!
Ok, so I've been having a world of trouble with my copy of She Builds Quick Machines so the captures are taking longer than I'd hope. But really, what doesn't with this place eh? LOL
Duffydack has once again been adding ink to himself, and I'll have those shots up in the fans corner very soon. Duffy, darling... you're going to run out of skin at this pace! ;)
We're baaaaaaaaaaack! :) After many misfires I've got a shiny new ftp server program (actually it's just an updated version of the old one. Stick with what ya know, eh?).
There's some new fan art to enjoy in the fans corner, and I'm working on adding a few new pictures. Captures for Velvet Revolver's new video, She Builds Quick Machines is also being worked on so keep an eye out for that... hopefully by the weekend.
Also, feel free to join us at facebook.com in the "Duff's Ultimate Fans Facebook" group!

Published in print on 7/12/2007.
Thanks to Tiffany and Adina for passing along this extremely sad information. On behalf of everyone here at LAMF, our condolences go out to the entire McKagan family.
Duffydack has been inking himself again, and has sent in some shots. They can now be viewed in the fan tattoos section under Tattoo #3 :)
After 2 years, we've finally had our first request to remove a picture. Hoowee! LOL! With the amount of pictures we have on display here, this was bound to happen. I can't possibly track down the owner of every single picture I'm sent in or have acquired myself over the last...18..no, 19 years. Thank you to the original owner for at least being polite about it.
Cam has sent in another drawing which is now up the in art section.
I've added some links to youtube footage, and if you don't know how to save them.... try GOOGLE! LOL Yes, I do have these clips in other formats, but apparently some people don't understand the whole "Save it! Don't play it directly from here!" message I've always sent out. As a result, our bandwidth was being eaten alive. That's also why I took down so many of the downloads that were there. As long as these youtube files are around, I'll use those. There's a bunch more to add, but 3 is good enough to start with. Again, these CAN BE SAVED if you know how.
Ok, I caved. After well over a dozen requests for pictures of Duff's family, I've finally put some up permenantly. It'll take me some time to make a front page for it to add to the gallery, but the actual pictures are up and can be found here The Family.
Thanks to Cam for sending in her lovely drawings of Duff! They're now up in the Fan Art section of Fans Corner. Also, the site FAQ has been updated with a few more questions.
I've slowly started upgrading the appearance of the site so I don't have to take anything down for an extended period of time. I have a high speed cable connection so if I add something that seriously slows down the page load, could someone please email me to let me know? Feedback would be appreciated too.
Happy Birthday, Duff!
Thanks to Claudia for sending in her Duff drawing. It's absolutely gorgeous!
Another huge thanks to DuffyDack for typing up the lyrics to Believe In Me. I guess he was tired of see the "Coming Soon.." LOL! They are now up for your reading pleasure, but I have some tweaking to do with the spacing ;)
Ashleigh sent in her guess for the "Translation Game" and it is now up aswell. I also added 2 photoshops. One is from Devanna, who responded to a comment that Duff's latest haircut looks odd. The other was made a long time ago, and I failed to put it up back then. It belongs to Erika, who posted it at the Velvet Revolver fan forum about 2 years ago. I absolutely loved it so I can't figure out how I missed it in the list! Thanks again for the laugh, Erika!
There's 2 new videos to be enjoyed. Both are from a Loaded show from 2002 and they feature special guests Shooter Jennings and Slash!
Huge thanks to DuffyDack for sending in a 30 second clip of Hey Bulldog. You can listen to it by right clicking and saving Here.
Also, Just_Me has graciously sent us an in between shot of Duff's Providence-whatever-the-hell-that-is tattoo. Check it out in the tattoo gallery, of course ;) And while I was in there I noticed there were 2 other shots of it that I hadn't gotten up yet. They're now there also.
And lastly, I've added a video to the downloads section, courtesy of youtube and whoever uploaded it there. The version I have is glitched at the end, so this one is of better quality for now.
I'm still here, still alive, and still recovering. Once all is relatively well again I'll be back to blow the dust off some sections and continue melting LAMF t-shirts (wink to DuffyDack and Teddy).
I've updated the discography section with the inclusion of Duff's appearance on the Butchering The Beatles tribute album. You can listen to a sample of the song "Hey Bulldog" at amazon among other places. I haven't found a decent sounding sample as of yet, but I'll let you know when I do.
I've gotten DuffyDack's new tattoo pictures up, and Diane's capture of Duff's tattoo. I'll try to do more tomorrow.
Hey all. Just checking in quickly to let you know I haven't forgotten this place. I've gone and injured my right wrist and hand and I'm not supposed to do anything to strain it. That includes typing! So, when it's healed enough for me to come back, I'll have some new caps aswell as a very nice close up shot of Duff's first tattoo thanks to Diane! There's also some updates on Duffydack's tattoo, a download or 2, and some fan art to go up!
Wow! My greatest appologizes to Teddy for mixing up her name with her friend's! It is TEDDY who is our second winner of the anniversary contest, as she clocked in first with the correct answers. Now i'm off to design you your t-shirt!
Thanks to those who participated in the anniversary contest. As today is our birthday, the contest has come to an end. Our winners are Duffydack (for the site question hunt) and Teddy (for the picture puzzle). Congrats to both of you and thank you for your continued support of the website. People like you make the work put into this place worth while. I'll be in contact with you both by the end of tonight!
We're one week away from our second anniversary, and we've gotten a few suggestions for what to do to celebrate. The most interesting is running a contest. As to what would be the winning prize still has me baffled. Again, any suggestions would be great!
Thank you to Sarah for letting me know the third page of the AFD gallery was down. It's fixed now ;)
And lastly, Duffydack has once again updated his Duff Tattoo. It looks fantastic! Check out the photos in the fan tat section. I wonder what the man himself would think about it?
Thanks to Eva for sending in her beautiful drawing. You can view it in the fan art section!
For those that had the Duff Speech 101 page bookmarked, please update it. After staring at a stupid typo for 2 years I finally fixed it :P
Speaking of 2 years.... LAMF's 2 year anniversary is fast approaching! I'd like to do something different for this minor mile-stone, but I can't think of anything. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. You can reach me at webmaster@duffmckagan.net
Oh, and Diane just sent me another boat-load of captures so I'll try to get those up soon.
Captures from Tokyo '92 have been added to the gallery. Enjoy, Claudia ;)
Duffydack has been at it again! You can see his latest updates to his Duff tattoo in the fan tattoo section!
Say goodbye to the message board. I have better things to do than delete spam messages every day. If it were a moderated, proper message forum then I might actually care, but it's not and I don't LOL. It was just something I thought some people might enjoy.
If you'd like to discuss Duff stuff then there are places like the D.U.F.F. among others to do so. I tried; it didn't work out; c'est la vie!
The newly revamped gallery is now up. We've decided to go with thumbnail display, and new pictures have been added to all but one section. Thanks to everyone that sent in pictures, and a HUGE thanks to The Mad Lep for helping out with the setup of the new gallery! It would have taken hours longer without her!
There's a couple of updates to take a look at. First, there's a new Duff drawing in the fan section by none other than Joana. You can see more of her creativity in the photoshop section. Look for the grey hair LOL!
Next up is the newest photoshop creation from The Mad Lep. It's a Duff board game, and supposedly the playing pieces are meant to be beer bottle caps! Have fun reading that one ;)
And lastly, I recieved an email pointing out that in the November Rain captures the part where he's under the table is missing. So I went ahead and put those captures in there for you. Enjoy! :)
I just wanted to make a quick note of something I discoverd last week. The website www.duffmckagan.com has spyware on it, so please make sure none of your friends confuse it with this place! I don't know what it'll do to your system since my spyware protection caught it immediately, but if it's hidden like that it can't be good.
If you take a look at the Photoshop area in the Fans Corner you'll see a new picture. Thanks to the girls who sent it in! You never told me your names! LOL It's always cool to see fans having some fun, and I'm sure somewhere out there The Mad Lep is laughing her ass off! LOL
Looks like something went wrong with the logo poll! The host site isn't telling me anything, and nothing about the poll itself violated any rules, so that could mean that someone tried to use backdoor ways to vote more than once. Regardless, I've checked in daily with it so I know which one was winning. I'd have to agree fully with the results. Logo #1 shows a lot of creativity, and some very cool effects. Knowing a thing or 2 about photoshop myself, I understand how time consuming that sucker had to have been! I'm endlessly greatful that someone would put that much effort into something for this little ole' site, and I'll proudly display it as our new logo! I've already contacted the artist and she's working on making it a little bigger for the page! :) I'll thank her by name when I put it up!
I'd like to thank everyone else who sent one in aswell. They were all great, and I really appreciate the hard work you all put in to your work. It's great to see that fans care enough about this place to take a little time out of their lives to help out!
And just one quick note... I'm mildly pissed that our site counter reset itself some time today >:( Just so you all know, we were about to hit 45,000 as of yesterday! So, for reference in the future, mostly for myself, LAMF's main page had approximately 45,000 hits as of June 1st, 2006 :)
Alright! 66 more captures are now up. They're from a Neurotic Outsiders show in '96. Thanks again to Diane for making them, though I know it's a labour of love ;)
Also, for those that didn't go looking in there lately, the FAQ section has been updated and revamped. The discography section now includes cover art (some of which was a bitch to find, I might add) so now you can see what album you're looking for! Some additional albums have been added thanks to various tips from fans. Again, if you know of any missing, please let us know!
Thanks to Duffydack for sending in his shots of his Duff "Believe In Me" inspired tattoo! They're on display now in the fan section under "Fan Tattoos". Anyone else with Duff related tats, please send in some pictures.
Big thanks to Katrin for those "RioSlashCam" captures ;) Incidentally, it means the shots were taken from the camera on Slash's usual side of the stage.
Diane's been at it yet again (or still?) and has sent me a bunch more captures. They should be up in the next day or so.
Once again, thanks to Diane for sending in some kick-ass captures. We've now got VR Big In 04, VR on Letterman, VR on Conan, VR on Stern, and..my personal favourite... Neurotic Outsiders live in Las Vegas from January 1996. They're all in the TV Video Captures!
Sorry for the delay! This took forever to upload :P The complete GAK performance from 1990 is now up. Enjoy, but be prepared to wait for it. It's a huge file.
Also, there's only one week remaining in the new logo search. Send in your ideas or get stuck looking at whatever we decide on!
Sorry to those that sent in guesses for the "Translate That Slur" game! I didn't realize I hadn't uploaded the most recent ones. They're there now for any one else that wants something to go by...and maybe take a guess yourself :)
I'm still looking for a new logo here, so please send any ideas in. I've recieved one so far, but I'd like at least one or 2 more before I start posting them to be decided on :)
For Rich, most of the RIP Magazine Party audio files are now available for download. I'm missing For Whom The Bell Tolls, but I'm looking ;) Hopefully I'll have the video of this show in the near future as well.
Are you an artist? Feeling creative? Do you think you can make a better logo for this site? I'd love to see it! No really....I would! Email your LAMF logo to webmaster@duffmckagan.net. We'd like to have a new one by January :)
Monday....Friday....close enough LOL.
3 more downloads are now available. 2 are video format, and the other is an mp3 of Neurotic Outsiders performing live with Slash in '95.
Thanks to everyone who signed just_me's petition. Keep spreading the word!
Listen up ladies and gents! Just_Me has started a petition to have Beautiful Disease officially released. It may seem like a long reach, but waiting patiently and doing nothing has gotten us no where, so why the hell not? I ask everyone who visits here to please sign it. Who knows...get enough names and we might just get the damn thing OFFICIALLY
More downloads to come on Monday :P
Sorry for the lack of updates. Who knew this whole working for a living would take up so much time? Pfft!
Anywho...there's 2 new downloads to enjoy, and they're both videos. Hopefully I'll get on before the end of the week and finish uploading the other 2 videos, as well as the audio one.
Some of the captures I promised are now up. They are from GNR's 7 Days In Rio, and VR's live at Brixton. Huge thanks to Diane for making them!
3 new downloads are available, and all 3 are videos. I'm still working on a few others, but it's taking some time since the footage is coming from a complete concert and I have to edit out individual songs. Enjoy what's there for now! :)
Hopefully no one noticed the major mess I made of the site temporarily while I was trying to get duffmckagan.net running along side www.duffmckagan.net. I'm no computer whiz so it took a whole slew of swear words and some loss of hair to get this place back to normal. Until I figure out what went wrong, I'll leave the other site alone for now. You'll just have to type in the www :P
I know there's still a few pages not resized yet, but honestly that was the least of my concerns when the whole thing went to shit LOL!
I'm currently looking for something else to add to the downloads section (most likely live GNR stuff since I lack imagination at the moment), and hopefully I'll have permission to add some more photoshopped pictures within the next day. They're not flattering, but they're funny as hell, and I'm trying to contact the author to allow them to be displayed!
I'm still working on fixing the layout problem. It's proving harder than I thought. Then again...what about this site has come easy? LOL!
The resolution problem is not the only one I've just recently noticed. When coming to this site, please don't forget the www in front of the name. Just http://duffmckagan.net will not have any pictures, backgrounds etc. Someday it will be properly set up too, but for now only http://www.duffmckagan.net is completely set up. Excluding the resolution problem of course! LMAO....oye.....
I'm working on getting this place to look normal no matter what resolution you're viewing it in. I had no idea it looked so off in a higher resolution. As I state on the front page it's meant to be viewed in 600x800, but most people aren't using that so I'll adjust. If some of the pages look stranger than usual, that would be me working on it and trying to get it looking right.
On behalf of the entire staff here at LAMF (Especially myself and Harker), we'd like to thank everyone for their kind words and recommendations for the site in both emails and the guestbook. Encouragement like Karly's is exactly what keeps us on our toes, always looking for new things to add, and trying to find ways to make the current stuff better.
The "Translate That Slurred Message" game is still up and running, but I'll start posting some of the responses. It'll be located in the fans section!
With a huge thanks to Harker (our very own lean, mean, capture machine), we now have a ton of captures from almost every video Duff's ever been in. We're working on the precious few that are missing (anyone out there know where I could get ahold of the Give Peace A Chance video circa 1991 from?!). As a result, the captures galleries are getting a new layout which is taking most of my time. Never the less, I know how much you guys like the downloads, so there's a few new ones there too!
The downloads section has been updated, and you can now find 2 live songs and one more video file.
Sorry for the delay. My computer went to shit and I've had to reinstall the entire webpage on a brand new computer. My live performance files haven't made the move over yet, so in the meantime I've uploaded 2 video files, and an audio interview Duff did in 1996. Enjoy!
Next up in the downloads section will be some live performances. I'll also be finally putting something in the video download area. Stay tuned, and thanks for your support!
It has been requested that Duff's versions of Bambi and Cracked Actor be made available here, but unforutunately those songs were officially released on the B-side of the Believe In Me single. In short, even though that single is no longer sold (aka Out Of Print), I'm not allowed to share it here. I'm not looking to get this site shut down and sued over a couple of songs, so you'll have to find some other way to get them. Sorry! :(
The live songs that are going up cover his GNR era, as I'm still checking the sources of the live Loaded stuff I have. I know it's not from Episode '99 live (officially release material). If I can't find the original owner I'll upload it. Of course I'll be waiting for someone to bitch about that too! :P
Some new photoshop creations have been added. If you fail to have a sense of humour, please do us all a favour and don't look. These are made in the name of fun and creativity. Personally, I enjoy them a great deal.
Still in the works: Duff Quotes, Video downloads, and a full Biography. Again, if you have any other suggestions feel free to contact me at webmaster@duffmckagan.net.
